ROCK CAVE – A fire on the Frenchton Road Thursday enveloped a garage, which was later deemed a total loss.
Banks District Volunteer Fire Department Chief John Roby said the department responded to a fully involved fire at 3146 Frenchton Road at 11:28 a.m. June 22. The structure on fire was a garage, and it was fully engulfed by the time firefighters arrived on scene.
“No one was hurt; there were some pets in the kennel next door, but we were able to get them out,” Roby said.
The cause of the fire was undetermined, Roby said, but it’s not suspicious.
