A bouquet of thanks to Beth Post, Cindy Phillips, Jason Jett, Donna Carpenter, Karen Coit and Ann Ludlow for doing such good work on April 20 at Fred Brooks Park, located at the intersection of Marion Street and Route 20.
The group weeded, pruned, raked leaves, transplanted and generally spruced the space up. The Fred Brooks Garden Club is hoping to have the park looking nice for their Arbor Day planting next Friday, April 29 at 1 p.m. at Fred Brooks Park.
Many thanks to Jerry Arnold, Brad Hawkins and Andrew Loudin for their help and work getting the spaces ready for the new trees. The club could not do what they do without the help of the city streets department.
