Edward Earl Warner Jr.

Edward Earl Warner, Jr., 55, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Saturday, January 16, 2021, at his home.

He was born January 26, 1965, in Riversdale, Md., a son of Edward, Sr. and Joyce Trainer Warner of Buckhannon who survive. Also surviving are one brother, Steve Warner and wife Terry of Buckhannon; two nephews, Thomas Warner and fiancé Mallory Cadell of Arlington, Texas and Jonathan Warner of Buckhannon; four aunts, Susie Phillips and husband Brent of Morgantown, W.Va., Sharron Sencindiver and husband John of French Creek, W.Va., Jeannie Taylor of Pomeroy, Ohio and Eloise Warner of Buckhannon; three uncles, Fred Trainer, Jr. and wife Junie of Buckhannon, Leroy Warner and wife Sue of Buckhannon and William Warner and wife Betty of Alta Vista, Va.; two special cousins, Ian and Alexis Sabo both of N.C. and his grandmother, Dorothy Trainer of Buckhannon.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Fred W. Trainer; three aunts, Virginia Rhodes, Mary Katherine Tenney and Betty Hyre Dye and one uncle, James Warner.

Mr. Warner was a graduate of Buckhannon-Upshur High school and Fairmont State College, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He was a Methodist by faith and worked as a mental health caregiver.

He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He loved animals, especially his dogs Moses and Zeke.

In honoring Mr. Warner’s wishes, he will be cremated.
