BUCKHANNON — Donors are needed for the Blood Drive scheduled for Wednesday, September 15th. It is sponsored by St. Joseph’s Hospital and the Rotary Club of Buckhannon-Upshur and will be held at the Event Center at Brushy Fork in Buckhannon.
The blood will be drawn by Vitalant, the blood supplier for St. Joseph’s Hospital and United Hospital Center.
As part of the blood drive, donations of non-perishable food will be collected by the Rotary Club of Buckhannon-Upshur for the Upshur Cooperative Parish House Food Pantry. Items needed are non-perishable foods including canned vegetables, canned beans, and grape jelly.
