Donald Ray Hamilton, age 75, of Weston WV, died Saturday, November 30, 2024, at home. He was born May 21, 1949, in Buckhannon, WV, a son of the late Lloyd and Ima Jean Hamilton Kelley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Donald Ray Hamilton, Jr. and a special uncle, Howard Gooden.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Hamilton of Ellamore; one son, John Thomas Hamilton and wife Melissa of Tallmansville, WV; one daughter, Lisa Kay Hamilton-Wilfong and husband Roger of IL; one daughter-in-law, Cindy Hamilton of Buckhannon; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; four sisters and one brother, Judy Bennet, Connie Zickefoose, Kenny Kelley, Pam Moran and Carrie Zickefoose and one special aunt, Betty Gooden.
Mr. Hamilton attended Nays Chapel and was a member of Sand Run Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, listening to music and cracking jokes.
In honoring Mr. Hamilton’s wishes, he will be cremated. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
