Delbert Junior Tenney

Delbert Junior Tenney, 67, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Sunday, September 12, 2021, at his home.

He was born December 20, 1953, in Upshur County, W.Va., a son of Mary L. Black Tenney who survives of Buckhannon and the late Delbert L. Tenney, Sr. In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sons, Dayton Wayne Tenney and wife Lynn, Brian M. Tenney and Cole Taylor all of Buckhannon; one daughter, Arianna Taylor of Buckhannon; step son, Gary Exline of Buckhannon and step daughter, Genie Waughtel and husband Clayton of Ellamore, W.Va.

Mr. Tenney worked at Corhart Refractories in shipping and receiving. He loved his antique cars. Also, he loved wheeling, dealing and trading. 

Friends will be received Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Ralph Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Tallmansville Baptist Church Cemetery in Tallmansville, W.Va.
