Davis & Elkins sets dates for new student early registration

ELKINS – Davis & Elkins College is stepping up efforts to make the transition from high school to college life more convenient for students and their families. Following on the success of New Student Registration Day last spring, the College has scheduled a slate of events each month beginning in April.

Students who have been accepted to attend D&E in fall 2019 may select from one of the early registration and orientation days scheduled for Saturday, April 13; Friday, May 17; Friday, June 21 or Friday, July 26. The sessions are not necessary for international students.

Each of the days will be filled with helpful advice and personal assistance in a family atmosphere, all scheduled well ahead of the start of fall classes. Activities include course registration, meetings with faculty and information on student organizations. There also will be sessions on student health and wellness, and safety regulations. Lunch will be provided.

Students who have been accepted and made their $100 enrollment deposit for the fall 2019 semester may register for any of the registration and orientation sessions by calling the Office of Admission at 304-637-1230 or visiting www.dewv.edu/form/new-student-registration.
