David Lee Queen, age 65, of Buckhannon, WV, died Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, WV.
He was born September 28, 1958, in Clarksburg, WV, a son of the late Brent W. and Delores Snyder Queen. On September 26, 1991, he married Debra Dean Queen who survives.
In addition to being survived by his loving and devoted wife of 33 years, Debbie, are one son, James Queen; one daughter, Alicia Harvey of Buckhannon; two sisters, Barbara Queen-McFadden and husband Butch of Reedsville, WV and Linda Stuttler and husband Kevin of West Milford, WV and his dog, Oreo.
Mr. Queen was a woodworker and attended Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. He had a gift for gab, enjoyed taking care of his community, and was lovingly known as the Mayor of Myrna Street. Thanks everyone for their thoughts and prayers.
In honoring Mr. Queen’s wishes, he will be cremated.
