Daniel Dale Toliver

Daniel Dale Toliver, age 79, of Rock Cave and a resident of Crestview Manor in Jane Lew died on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at Crestview Manor. 

He was born February 28, 1944, in Frenchton, WV a son of the late Irvin and Elma Gregory Toliver.  He is survived by one son Daniel Dale Toliver, Jr and wife Christy of Rock Cave; one daughter Tara Lowrey and husband Justin of Oakhurst, CA; one granddaughter Paige Lowrey; four brothers: David Tolliver and wife Alice of Rock Cave, Kenny Tolliver and wife Brenda of Jane Lew, Roger Tolliver and wife Ruth of Rock Cave, Terry Tolliver and wife Pam of Virginia; three sisters: Linda Matheny of Frenchton, Maxine Johnson and husband Howard of Buckhannon, Donna Jeffco and husband Ron of Buckhannon.

Mr. Toliver enjoyed country music and loved his dogs very much.  He was a proud US Marine Corps veteran, having served two tours in Vietnam from 1967-1970.

Friends will be received at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel on Monday, March 6, 2023, from 4-6 PM.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the funeral chapel with Pastor Terry Tolliver officiating.  Interment will follow in the Beechtown Cemetery. The Upshur County Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the graveside.
