She also enjoyed traveling abroad and spending time at the beach, where she would often be found with a smile on her face and a sense of serenity in her heart. In addition to her professional achievements, Cynthia was an active member of the Heaston Ridge United Methodist Church, exemplifying a life of faith and service. She volunteered for the Upshur County Christmas store, bringing joy and warmth to those less fortunate during the holiday season. She was a licensed ham radio operator, a testament to her love for communication and connection. Her commitment to environmental causes saw her become a member of Save our Streams for several years.
