Colonial Arts Center Presents – Elvis Presley tribute artist Robert Keefer will perform at the Colonial Arts Center theatre in Buckhannon on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at 2:00 pm. Keefer has been performing Elvis for many years and has worked at the Elvis Museum in Pigeon Forge. He has opened for legends like Chubby Checker, Faron Young, Billy Crash Craddock and Randy Owen from the group Alabama. Keefer focuses on Elvis’ 70s career in Las Vegas to bring the era of Elvis’ bigger-than-life lifestyle to the stage. Free Paper Shredding Event – The next Free Paper Shredding Event is planned for September 28, from 9:00 am until noon, at the Street and Waste Department complex at 395 Mudlick Road, Buckhannon, WV 26201.

Make It Shine Event – The next Make It Shine Event is planned for Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 7:30 am – 3:00 pm at the Transfer Station 444 Mud Lick Road, Buckhannon, WV 26201.

Trunk or Treat, October 28, 2024 – The annual Trunk or Treat sponsored by the Buckhannon Police Department, VIPS and Upshur County Family Resource Network will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024, from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm at the Buckhannon Safety Complex. This will speed up the reaction time to a matter that needs immediate attention.
