Clifford Franklin Reed, age 88, of Buckhannon, WV died Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Nella’s at Autumn Lake in Elkins, WV. He was born March 12, 1936, in Buckhannon, a son of the late Dana and Kathleen Casto Reed.
On January 16, 1968, he married Arlene Lambert who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Jim Reed and wife Christina of French Creek, WV and Jerry Reed and wife Missy of Ritchie, WV; two grandsons, Jon Reed of Buckhannon and Joey Reed of Palatka, FL; three step-grandsons, Timothy and Zechariah Colvin of Harrisville, and Jacob Williams of NE; three step-granddaughters, Casey Gulachek of OH and Lydia and Hannah Colvin of Harrisville; five great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Hunter, and Conner Reed all of Palatka, FL and Finley Reed of Buckhannon; two brothers, Richard Reed and Ron Reed and wife Joyce all of Buckhannon and two sisters, Wilma Posey and husband Wayne of Herdford, AZ and Sue Pick and husband Paul of Bridgeport, WV.
Mr. Reed was a Truck Driver and a member of the Reger Chapel United Methodist Church. He enjoyed working on vehicles and hunting.
Friends will be received Monday, August 5, 2024, from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Wease L. Day officiating. Burial will follow at the Brown Cemetery in Rock Cave, WV.
