Chesley “Chet Red Beard” Hull

Chesley “ Chet Red Beard” Hull, age 64, of Buckhannon, WV, died Friday, December 15, 2023, at his home.

He was born September 7, 1959, in Pickens, WV, a son of the late James and Willa Tuning Hull.

On August 11, 2000, he married Tina Harper who survives. Also surviving are three sons, Chesley Dale Hull of Oak Hill, WV, Brian Hull and wife Stephanie of Beckley, WV and Josiah Hull of Buckhannon; one daughter, Kaylee Hull of Buckhannon; several grandchildren; five brothers, Allen Hull and wife Debbie of Buckhannon, Donald Hull and wife Donna and Jerry Hull all of Pickens, James Hull and wife Diane of French Creek, WV and Lance Bunner and wife Theresa of Buckhannon; one sister, Nancy Vaughn of Buckhannon; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Holly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Connie Wilkins and special nephew, Tommy Wilkins.

Chet had a great love for Ford trucks and collecting “junk.” He was a jack of all trades, and many considered him to be the best mechanic around.

Friends will be received Monday, December 18, 2023, from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. In honoring his wishes, Chet will be cremated after the viewing.
