Carolyn Sue Collins Heater, age 70, of Rock Cave died on Monday, October 23, 2023, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. 

She was born December 7, 1952, in Sutton, a daughter of the late Junior and Betty Dean Collins.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Janet McCants. 

She is survived by her husband Martin Scott Heater, also two sons:  Kenneth J. “J.R.” Wilson of Elkins, Jason Wilson and Tracie Cogar of French Creek; one daughter Amy and husband Duane Sikarskie of Buckhannon; two grandchildren:  Tyler and Caleb Sikarskie.

Carolyn was retired from St. Joseph’s Home Health and Hospice where she worked as a nurse’s aide. 

At the request of the deceased, the body will be cremated and there will be no services.
