Cancer survivors invited to Relay For Life dinner June 15

BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – Upshur County Relay for Life invites cancer survivors to the annual survivors dinner Saturday, June 15 at Chapel Hill UMC beginning at 5:30 p.m.

This year’s theme is Party Gras. Survivors are always the heart of Relay and they choose to honor them with this dinner prepared by Fish Hawk Acres and sponsored by WVU Medicine/St. Joseph’s Hospital and by Fish Hawk Acres. The event will also include a talk from a local cancer survivor about their journey.

The meal includes herb-roasted chicken, sides and dessert catered by Fish Hawk Acres. Survivors and a guest are welcome but an RSVP is required by June 8 to Michael Alkire P.O. Box 571 Beverly, WV 26253 or email michael.alkire@cancer.org.
