Buckhannon Youth Football to sale raffle tickets for WVU-Oklahoma game tonight at B-U/Elkins contest

TENNERTON – The Buckhannon Youth Football League will be selling raffle tickets at tonight’s Buckhannon-Upshur-Elkins game for two West Virginia University-Oklahoma football tickets and a Blue Lot pass for their Nov. 12^th contest.

The two tickets and Blue Lot pass were donated to the league by Travis Foster of Foster’s Marketing Group.

Foster is also donating two tickets and Blue Lot pass to the Lewis County Youth Football League for the Kansas State game.

“It’s just a way to help two youth football programs and the community” stated Foster.

Buckhannon-Upshur split Big 10 action, falling 10-4 to Lincoln after eight errors led to 10 unearned runs. The Bucs bounced back with a 13-1, five-inning rout of Lewis County behind Jaxon Spratt’s 3-for-3 day with two homers and six RBIs.

B-U’s Jerin Westfall earns First Team All-State Basketball honors

Buckhannon-Upshur senior Jerin Westfall earned 2025-26 WVSWA All-State First Team honors after a standout season as Big 10 Player of the Year. He powered the Bucs to a 14-9 record, averaging 27.1 points and 12.2 rebounds while leading the team in assists and blocks.
