Buckhannon: Then and Now – Amalia Drive

Twenty-five years after 9/11, three WVU faculty members recall witnessing the attacks from Morgantown, beneath the Twin Towers and Charleston. Their stories honor the lives lost and a day that forever changed America.

Buckhannon’s 2026 Pumpkin Scarecrow Contest invites residents, businesses and groups to decorate downtown lampposts Oct. 5-31. Entries must be family-friendly, securely installed and removed by Nov. 2.
