Buckhannon resident graduates from Alderson Broaddus with perfect 4.0 GPA

PHILIPPI, W.Va. — Honors Convocation is an annual celebration recognizing the distinguished achievements of Alderson Broaddus University’s most academically accomplished students.

The tradition of Honors Convocation dedicates time prior to Commencement for the academic community to gather and recognize the very best of the University’s undergraduates who have made significant contributions to campus life and are prepared to make a difference in their professional fields or graduate programs.

Sixty students received honors during the ceremony, including 24 Silver Key honors (3.6 GPA or above with high qualities of character), 30 President’s List honors (3.6 GPA or above for five semesters), and six Honors Program graduates.

Tiffany Hinchman of Buckhannon, W.Va., Ciara Bauman of Barnesville, Ohio, Lane Casto of Given, W.Va., and Taylor Wagner of Charleston, W.Va. received the graduating senior academic award, earning the highest cumulative GPA in the senior class, a perfect 4.0.
