The Buckhannon Water Department has lifted the precautionary boil water notice for customers in the Shawnee Drive, Rohr Avenue, Hillcrest Drive, and Gilbert Street areas, according to a press release issued early Friday afternoon.

All water samples have been returned and meet all West Virginia Health Department regulations.
