Bonnie Marie Tenney

Bonnie Marie Tenney, age 64, of Buckhannon, WV, died Monday, January 6, 2025, at Nella’s at Autumn Lake Healthcare Center in Elkins, WV. She was born February 6, 1960, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Oscar and Elizabeth Ruth Shreve Fortney.

On January 1, 1981, she married Roger Lee Tenney of Buckhannon, who survives. Also surviving are her son, Dalton Hunter Tenney of Morgantown, WV; two sisters, Pamela Landis and Mildred June Trainor of Buckhannon; one brother, Bob Fortney and close friend, Shirley Tenney of Buckhannon.

Mrs. Tenney was a Baptist by faith. She was a cook and loved making homemade quilts with her mother. Most of all, Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, and being outdoors.

In honoring Mrs. Tenney’s wishes, she will be cremated.
