Boni Kay Adamy

Boni Kay Adamy, 75, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Sunday, December 6, 2020, at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, W.Va.

She was born October 31, 1945, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Carl Edward and Agnes Rae Scott Casto. On October 3, 1997, she married Paul Edward Adamy, who preceded in her death on May 7, 2017.

She is survived by one son, Shawn Coakley and wife Annette Solet of Sandusky, Ohio; one step-son, Michael Adamy and wife Jennifer of Lake Frederick, Va.; four granddaughters, Ali Solet of Ashland, Ohio, Abigail Bates and husband Jeremie of Zanesville, Ohio, Emily Coakley of Zanesville and Alyssa Baker and husband Jeremy of Vayse, Va.; two grandsons, Jonathan Martin of Edinburg, VA and Devon Martin of Wytheville, Va.; two great-granddaughters, Trinity Stanley of Vayse and Addilyn Martin of Wytheville; two brothers, Donald Scott Casto and wife Lois Ann of Buckhannon and John Perry (Pete) Casto and wife Sandra Sue of Parkersburg, W.Va. and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Adamy was a volunteer for the local Literacy Volunteers of America and greatly enjoyed camping and traveling to the beach for family vacations. Boni was a very supportive and loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and spouse.

Friends will be received Thursday, December 10, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. with Pastor Bob Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurel Fork Church Cemetery in French Creek, W.Va.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Literacy Volunteers of Buckhannon.
