Beth Ann Carson

Beth Ann Carson, age 53, of Buckhannon, WV, died Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at Holbrook Healthcare Center in Buckhannon. She was born August 30, 1971, in Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Lyelle A. Helmick.

On August 20, 1994, she married James Todd Carson who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, James Brian Carson and wife Darian of French Creek, WV, and Matthew Ward Carson and girlfriend Kaylie Reed of Buckhannon; several aunts, uncles and cousins and her three grand dogs.

Beth graduated from B-UHS with the Class of 1989. She went on to attend Glenville State College and then earned her Medical Assisting Diploma from Webster College in 1992.

Beth was a medical receptionist and a homemaker. She enjoyed her boys and spending time with her family, working in her flower bed and watching NASCAR. Beth was a member of Mt. Hermon Church.

The family extends a special thank you to Holbrook’s Nursing Home and Staff and to WVU Hospice and Staff.

Friends will be received Sunday, March 9, 2025, from 4 PM to 8 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Holt Poling officiating. Burial will follow in the Heavner Cemetery in Buckhannon.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Huntington’s Disease Society of America.
