The Fred Brooks Garden Club has named its Strawberry Yard of the Month, honoring Robyn Riggs Simons of 16 Park Street in Buckhannon.
The Lewis-Upshur Animal Control Facility will host two free drive-up vaccine clinics in May, one in Upshur County and one in Lewis County. Funded by a $20,000 Petco Love grant, the clinics aim to curb canine parvovirus and feline panleukopenia.
