Buckhannon-Upshur Middle School’s Jazz Band has worked all year to develop a great sound as an ensemble and provide quality entertainment for Upshur County.
The band has performed two school concerts – one in November and one in February. In March, they traveled to University High School to participate in the Northern Regional Jazz Festival and earned a superior rating from all three adjudicators. They also presented a concert on Wednesday, May 8 in the B-UMS cafeteria.
The band will finish out the year by performing for the Tennerton Community Council’s celebration at Jawbone Park on Friday, May 10 starting at 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Please show your support for the B-UMS Jazz Band!
