TENNERTON – The Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers put five players on the Region I Soccer Team that was announced this week.

Caden Andrick and Julien Larcher were named to the First Team while Zach Calef-Boring, Noah Radabaugh and Dalton Auvil were selected to the Second Team.

Andrick, a senior, was named to the First Team as a midfielder. He played in all 21 games and collected six goals and five assists.

Larcher, also a senior, was selected as a First Team defender. He captained the B-U defense while picking up five goals and two assists in 20 games.

As a junior, Calef-Boring was selected to the Second Team as a forward. He led the team in goals with 12 while adding two assists in 21 games.

Radabaugh, a sophomore, was picked to the Second Team as a midfielder. He was second on the team in goals with seven and collected three assists in 18 games.

The final regional selection for B-U was Auvil, a junior keeper, who named to the Second Team.

Auvil posted four shutouts on the season and had a 1.84 goals against average in 20 games played.

Region I is comprised of Buckhannon-Upshur, Bridgeport, Brooke, John Marshall, Morgantown, Preston, University and Wheeling Park.

Wheeling Park had the most First Team selections with five while Bridgeport had four.
