Attention Artists: Annual Spring Into Art Juried Art Festival returns to downtown Buckhannon in April

BUCKHANNON – Artist applications are now being accepted for Buckhannon’s beloved art festival, ‘Spring Into Art.’ This event returns to Main Street this spring to share the talented works of local artists.

The unique festival is once again hosted by Artistry on Main of Buckhannon. Mark your calendars and visit The Buckhannon Opera House at 12 E. Main Street on Saturday, April 22 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, April 23 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Artistry on Main welcomes the public to witness the true, raw talent of local artists. One-of-a-kind, handmade items will be available for purchase.

“We invite you to mark your calendars and make sure you come out to support the event,” said Christine Keller, President of Artistry on Main. “Community involvement is necessary to make these types of events possible and will ensure that they continue. You will be blown away by the talent from the area. It is definitely worth attending.”

Artists of diverse mediums may set up a booth to showcase their recent works during the two-day event. The cost to set up a booth is $50. Electricity outlets are available for an additional fee.

“We are always on the lookout to add new artists to the lineup, so please apply,” Keller said.

The 2022 Spring Into Art festival drew photographers, jewelry makers, basket weavers, stained glass artists, pottery artists, soap makers and many more talented individuals.

Applications to reserve a booth close on Saturday, April 8, 2023. Visit the Artistry on Main website to learn more about the application.

Questions about the show may be directed to Tom Lynch at 304-642-5908 or Christine Keller at 304-439-4612.

As part of the application process, artists are asked to send sample images (hard copy or digital) of their work, along with the booth application, by email to mainstreetgallery.inwv@gmail.com. Please state clearly in the subject line: AOM Festival Submission.

Important note: Artists who participated in the 2022 Spring Into Art show and Tamarack Juried Artists need not submit images of their work.
