Arthelia “Ann” Norman, 65, of Buckhannon, W.Va., died Friday, May 17, 2019, at Davis Medical Center in Elkins, W.Va.
She was born March 13, 1954 in Elkins, a daughter of the late George Dilworth Lantz and Nelli Marie Davis Lantz.
She is survived by her husband Thomas Gary Wamsley of Buckhannon; one son, David Norman and wife Sierra of Buckhannon; three brothers, Ronald Lantz and wife Mary of Ky., Robert Lantz and wife Janet of Ellamore, W.Va. and Eugene “Jake” Lantz of Ellamore; four sisters, Regina Tenney and husband Claude of Ellamore, Ilene Malcolm and husband Ron of Volga, W.Va., Marlene Young and husband John of Ellamore and Ramona Zickefoose and husband Ted of Buckhannon; special nephew and nieces, Levi Stump and Alexis and Madison Nine all of Ellamore; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Betty Ray of Elkins and Sylvia Schrader of Buckhannon and beloved cat, Boots.
Mrs. Norman was a Christian by faith and a cook at Zick’s Restaurant. She loved cooking at Zick’s, thrift store shopping and spending time with her friends, family and grand dogs. She also enjoyed watching Walker Texas Ranger and Forensic Files.
Friends will be received Tuesday, May 21, 2019 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Terry Gower officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Union Church Cemetery in Buckhannon.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
