Anita Diane Hodgson Glasser, age 84, of Buckhannon, WV died on Friday, November 10, 2023, at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport.

She was born October 14, 1939, in Punxsutawney, PA to Clyde and Christina Hodgson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother John (Pat) Hodgson; daughter Sandra Waugaman; great grandson Trevor Glasser; husband George “Pee Wee” Glasser; and former life partner Billy Ray Waugaman.

Surviving are sons:  Norman (Julie) Glasser of Chelsea, AL, Robert (Nancy) Glasser of Ambridge, PA, William Glasser, and Rodney (Beverly) Waugaman, both of Buckhannon; and daughter Joy Smart (Rob Abel) of Buckhannon. She has 15 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren whom she adored.

Diane’s loving and friendly nature welcomed others into her heart and home with open arms. She was blessed with a blended family of seven additional children and their families. Also surviving is a special cousin Carolyn Shreves and family of Weston, WV.

At the request of the deceased the body will be cremated and there will be no services.
