Amy Katherine Bolton

Amy Katherine Bolton, age 54, of Buckhannon, WV, died Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at the Davis Medical Center in Elkins, WV.

She was born February 15, 1968, in Philippi, WV, a daughter of the late Bradford Bolton and Mary Katherine (Biller) Ross.

She is survived by her stepmother, Betty Bolton of Buckhannon; four sisters, Toni Snyder-Corfee of Tocca, GA, Shannon Haynie and husband Terry of Wilmington, NC, Sue Norman and spouse Tonya of Fairmont, WV and Cathy Howes of Buckhannon; two brothers, Paul Aaron Bolton and wife Mary-Elizabeth of Buckhannon and Everett Wayne Ross of Shinnston, WV; two nephews, AJ Bolton and Ethan Howes both of Buckhannon and six nieces, Sarah Bolton of Buckhannon, Shaleia Purnell and husband Justin of Parsons, WV, Jessica Bartley and husband Willie of Barbour County, WV, Erica Norman and Companion Vinnie of Buckhannon and Lisa Heckman and Allison Howes both of Buckhannon and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Amy is a loving sister, daughter, aunt, cousin, and friend. She spent most of her life dedicated to helping others. From taking care of her little brothers when they were young, to helping with her parents until her health declined to where she physically couldn’t. Even then, Amy was a should cry on, an ear to listen, and would give advice when needed. With this she never asked for anything in return.

She inherited her strength from her father, able to bear the weight of the world on her shoulders, so you didn’t have to; and, she got her mother’s heart, not only for people, but for animals as well. She would be your biggest supporter in anything you put your mind to, and she was proud of her family.

As we say our last good-byes, we lose our rock, our beloved sister, and close friend, but she wants to continue helping others even after her time on this earth with her loved ones is through, she will live on not only in our memories, but in those that she helps with her life-saving donation to others. Amy you are leaving us too soon. Thank you for all of your love and support throughout our lives, know that we love you, we will miss you, and we will never forget you.

The family extends a special thank you to the Anmoore Fire Dept. and EMS, the Randolph County EMS, the ICU staff at Davis Medical Center and the staff at Autumn Lake at Nella’s.

Friends will be received Sunday, January 8, 2023, from 2 PM to 4 PM at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 4 PM Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor Howard Biller officiating. In honoring Amy’s wishes she will be cremated following the funeral services.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help with Medical and Funeral Expenses.

Online condolences may be made to the family at www.polingstclair.com. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
