Due to the continuing inclement weather, Buckhannon’s American Legion Post 7 is canceling its monthly meeting scheduled for Saturday, January 11, as well as the Veterans Assistance Day scheduled for Thursday, January 9.

The next Post 7 meeting will be held on February 1, with lunch at noon and the meeting at 1 p.m. The annual 4 Chaplains ceremony, presented by Auxiliary Unit 7 members, will take place at that time. The Post Everlasting ceremony, originally scheduled for the January meeting, is postponed until the March 1 meeting. This ceremony is held in recognition of all Post 7 members who passed away in 2024.
