Freda Pearl Depoy

Freda Pearl Depoy, 73, of French Creek, W.Va., died Thursday, July 18, 2019, at her home.

She was born April 28, 1946, in Indian Camp, W.Va., a daughter of the late James and Evelyn Bosley Siron. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Depoy; one daughter, Sharon Browning and two grandsons, William and Wayne Browning.

She is survived by one son, Frank Goetzke of N.C.; two daughters, Jonie Winters and husband James, III of French Creek and Karen Goetzke-Grijalva and husband Marco of N.C.; three grandsons, J.R. Long and James Winters, IV both of French Creek and Eric Thongsavath of N.C.; three granddaughters, Jennifer Goetzke of N.C. and Cathy Pringle and Michela Long both of French Creek; one great-granddaughter, Naomi Long of French Creek; two brothers, Robert Siron and James Siron and wife Edie of Md. and one sister, Sandy Gill of Buckhannon, W.Va.

Mrs. Depoy was a factory worker and a jack of trades. She loved to read and play cards, especially Rummy. Freda will be missed dearly by family, who is now at peace knowing that she is pain free.

In honoring Mrs. Depoy’s wishes, she will be cremated.
