Marvin Lee “Buck” Perry, age 91, of Buckhannon, WV, died Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Holbrook Healthcare Center in Buckhannon.
He was born September 6, 1934, in French Creek, WV, a son of the late Esker and Juanita Hoover Perry. In 1956, he married Scarlett JoAnn Solomon, who preceded him in death.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Doug Perry.
He is survived by one daughter, Amber Steinberger of Fredrick, MD; cousin, Victor Zickefoose of Buckhannon; grandchildren, Garrett Nicely, Tyler Nicely, Raegan Steinbarger, and Landon Steinbarger; and great-grandchildren, Harper Nicely, Camden Nicely, and Jon Nicely.
“Buck” was a construction worker. He served in the US Army.
A private service will be held for the family. Entombment will be in the Laurel Fork Church Cemetery Mausoleum in French Creek, WV.
