Annette Reel

Annette Reel, age 67, of Hurricane, WV, died Sunday, January 18, 2026, at The Celebration Villa of Teays Valley in Hurricane.

She was born April 19, 1958, of Buckhannon, WV, a daughter of the late William Benson and Heloise M. “Peg” Carr Light.

She is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Eddy and husband Jonathan of Church Hill, TN; one son, Jacob Hyre of Buckhannon; five grandchildren, Jaydin and Annalee Perrine both of Church Hill and Faith, Myles and Regan Hyre all of Buckhannon; four siblings, Jay Light of Cross Lanes, WV, Kevin of Buckhannon, Kay and Keith Davidson of Laurel, MD and Tom Light of Dunbar, WV and several nieces and nephews.

Annette worked for the FBI as an Analyst. She was a member of the Chrisitan Fellowship Church.

In honoring Annette’s wishes she will be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
