BUCKHANNON, W.Va. — A free weight-loss information session focusing on weight-loss surgery will be held at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 6 p.m. in Salvati Hall.
The session will be presented by the WVU Medicine Bariatrics team who provides a comprehensive surgical weight-loss program. Candidates for weight-loss surgery should be 100 pounds overweight and committed to a healthy lifestyle. Attendance at an information session is a mandatory first step for program participants.
