BUCKHANNON, W.Va. – The Pallottine Foundation of Buckhannon, in partnership with Volunteer West Virginia, will provide a free training on volunteer recruitment and management for nonprofit organizations Wednesday, Aug. 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Greek Alumni Room at West Virginia Wesleyan College in Buckhannon. The interactive workshop will focus on building, growing and sustaining a strong volunteer base.

“The nonprofit organizations that attended our previous workshops in Buckhannon communicated a need for continuing education on how to recruit and retain volunteers, which are essential to their work in the community,” said Janell Ray, executive director of the Pallottine Foundation of Buckhannon. “We are pleased to partner with Volunteer West Virginia on this valuable learning opportunity as we continue to look for new ways to support nonprofits in the counties we serve.”
