Taco Tuesday lake cruises return at Stonewall Resort; Lightburn’s to open May 5

Weston, W.Va. – The warmer temperatures bring with them two additional and unique dining options for overnight and day guests to enjoy at Stonewall Resort – the popular Taco Tuesday Lake Cruise (which began April 26) and Lightburn’s Restaurant (opening May 5).

“Among other things, Stonewall Resort is known for our amazing lakeside scenery and our culinary program,” said Andre’ D’Amour, general manager at Stonewall Resort. “With the ‘launch’ of our Taco Tuesday Lake Cruise and the opening of Lightburn’s, situated at the highest point of the resort property, guests can experience the best of both worlds.”

D’Amour said the resort will host its Taco Tuesday Lake Cruise each Tuesday, weather permitting, through the end of October. Both day guests and overnight guests can enjoy a scenic cruise around the lake while dining on tacos, chips and salsa and enjoying a variety of beverages.

Set on Little Sorrel, the resort’s 100-passenger lake excursion boat, guests will enjoy a leisurely two-hour lake cruise (5:30-7:30pm) while enjoying unlimited soft- and hard-shell tacos, as well as chips and salsa, and dessert. The cost is $40 per adult, which includes two margaritas or two beers.  A cash bar will be available for additional beverage purchases. Kid’s tickets are $25.

Tickets are available in advance and on the day of (pending availability) by calling (304) 269-8880 or by visiting Stillwaters in the resort lodge. Seating is limited and based on availability.

Inspired by the creativity and detail that Mr. Arnold Palmer designed into the surrounding golf course and showcasing stunning views of the lake and surrounding countryside, Lightburn’s will open for the season on Thursday, May 5th. The restaurant offers a steakhouse menu featuring handmade courses of smoked meats, prime steaks and the freshest seafood crafted with regionally sourced ingredients.

For additional information, or reservations, contact the resort at (304) 269-7400 or by visiting www.StonewallResort.com.
