BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. – West Virginia Wesleyan’s Natalie Prater is a repeat selection as the Mountain East Conference Offensive Player of the Week, while Fairmont State’s Ella Wilson has been recognized as the Defensive Player of the Week.
Prater, a senior from Bridgeport, W.Va., led the Bobcats to a pair of wins with a goal and three assists. She provided the game-winning goal in a 2-0 win over Shepherd, and then led the offense with three assists as WVWC rolled to a 6-0 win over Wheeling Jesuit.
Wilson, a freshman from Wellington, New Zealand, helped Fairmont State to a 1-0-1 record. She recorded an assist in both of Fairmont State’s matches and helped the Falcons to a shutout from her spot in the midfield in a 1-0 win over Urbana.

Offense: Keira Hill (UC) had five points (2g, 1a) in a win over West Liberty … Pilar Elias (CU) had the game-winner in overtime vs. Charleston … Elisha Davis (SU) had a goal and assist vs. Glenville State … Abigail Johnson had a goal against Urbana … Alyssa Edwards (UU) paced the Blue Knights with three shots.
Defense: Alex O’Brien (WVWC) helped the Bobcats post a pair of shutouts last week … Katie Mahar (CU) allowed one goal in 198 minutes of work, including a shutout over Charleston.
