Kathryn Virginia Simons Cutright, 91, of Buckhannon, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon.

She was born in Upshur County on Feb. 19, 1927, a daughter of the late Elza Pete and City Belle Abel Simons.  She was united in marriage on May 25, 1944, to Junior Hayes Cutright who preceded her in death on February 8, 2008.

In addition to her parents and her husband she was also preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.

She is survived by one son Hayes E. Cutright of Buckhannon; two grandchildren:  Richard Hayes Cutright and wife Nicole of Corinth, NY and Sara Cutright Riffle of Buckhannon and five great grandchildren.

Kathryn was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and spending time with her family.
