Charles Floyd ‘Bud’ Nesbitt

Charles Floyd “Bud” Nesbitt, 59, formerly of Buckhannon, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2019, at Charleston Area Medical Center Memorial Hospital in Charleston, W.Va.

He fought a short but courageous battle with cancer.

He was born Dec. 17, 1959, in Sewickley Valley Hospital, Sewickley, Pennsylvania to the late Charles Francis Nesbitt and Edna Margaret Bauserman Nesbitt Karickhoff who survives.

Bud is also survived by his three children, Jessica Ware and husband Randy, Alex Nesbitt and wife Sarah and Travis Nesbitt and spouse Tyler: three grandchildren Aurora and Marishka Ware and Kevin Lee Nesbitt; his siblings Linda and husband Jim Tinney, Vickie Bauserman; Randy Nesbitt; and Sue and husband Dan Duke and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Jason Lee Nesbitt; his brother, Ralph Edward Nesbitt; paternal grandparents, Charles Hiner and Myrtle Francis (Finley) Nesbitt and his maternal grandparents Orville Floyd and Esther Gertrude (Welch) Bauserman.

In honoring Mr. Nesbitt’s wishes he will be cremated. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
