Coinciding with the West Virginia State Folk Festival, the camp is designed for students interested in learning the deep-rooted tradition of bluegrass music. The camp will be hosted by Dr. Megan Darby and members of the Glenville State College Bluegrass Band.

Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m., one hour before the start of instruction. In addition to quality instruction, the camp will provide lunch, a snack, a craft, and a certificate. Admission to the camp is $40.00 per student.

Youth and community jam sessions will be held at the Pioneer Stage on Thursday, June 17, Friday, June 18, and Saturday, June 19 from 6:00-10:00 p.m. during the Folk Festival. This will be an opportunity for camp participants to have fun, learn, and practice their new skills.
