Renee Kelley, Maintenance Support Specialist at Weyerhaeuser, recently presented a Weyerhaeuser Giving Fund Certificate to Jeanne Bennett, principal of Washington District Elementary, according to an Upshur County Schools post. Washington District Elementary School was awarded a $2,025 grant from Weyerhaeuser, which allowed the school to purchase additional digital radios so all staff have access to one. Several students in the school have family members who work at Weyerhaeuser. Pictured are a few of those students – Kierra Pumphrey, Jeremy Thomas, Haiden Tenney and Jase Tenney.
