Weston to celebrate the holidays with Miracle on Main Street

WESTON, W.Va. — Take a horse-drawn sleigh ride, view a live nativity scene and enjoy Christmas carolers when downtown Weston hosts Miracle on Main Street on Saturday, Dec. 8 beginning at 3 p.m.

The event is also set to include a Christmas skit, tree lighting ceremony, activities for kids, food and small business vendors, smores, photo and pie baking contests and more.

Photo contest entries need to be turned in at Ramsey Insurance by Dec. 1.

The schedule for Dec. 8 is as follows:

3 p.m. – All four trees must be turned in in front of Ramsey Insurance
3-7 p.m. – Carolers
3-7 p.m. – Family pictures at the gazebo
3-7 p.m. – Live nativity (older Corner Pocket lot)
3-7 p.m. – Activities for kids (Bank Alley to 1st Street)
3-7 p.m. – Craft and food vendors (theme shirts will be sold)
3-7:30 p.m. – Smores and kettle corn in the bank parking lots
3:30 p.m. – Pie for contest must be turned in at Thyme Bistro
4-8 p.m. – Horse-drawn sleigh rides
4-6 p.m. – Santa’s Workshop opens at Bailey House
5:30 p.m. – Tree lighting
7 p.m. – 12 Days of Christmas skit
7:15 p.m. – All contest winners will be announced
7:15 p.m. – Auction begins (Holt Lot)
