Upshur County residents graduate from GSC

GLENVILLE, WV – Three students from Upshur County were awarded degrees during the Glenville State College Winter Commencement Ceremony held on Saturday, November 21, 2021.

Tyler McCartney of Selbyvillle received a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Field Forensics.

Emily Moore of Buckhannon received an Associate in Arts degree in General Studies as part of the Milestone Initiative. The Milestone Initiative signifies the important academic accomplishment of students who are working toward a bachelor’s degree.

James Trivolette of Buckhannon received an Associate in Arts degree in General Studies.

Founded in 1872, Glenville State College is a public liberal arts college located in Glenville, West Virginia. The college offers a variety of four-year degree programs and several NCAA Division II athletic teams.
