Upshur County grand jury hands up 35 indictments

The September 2019 term of the Upshur County grand jury handed up 35 indictments after meeting Monday and Tuesday. According to a press release from Upshur County Prosecuting Attorney David Godwin’s office, the following indictments were returned:

Johnna Dee Courtney, 38, of Buckhannon, was indicted for conspiracy to possess controlled substances with the intent to deliver, a felony, one count.

Gary William Moran II, 39, of Buckhannon, was indicted for conspiracy to possess controlled substances with the intent to deliver, a felony, one count.

Heather Dawn Ware, 34, of Buckhannon, was indicted for conspiracy to possess controlled substances with the intent to deliver, a felony, one count.

Gregg Scott Haymond, 46, of Buckhannon, was indicted for driving while license revoked for DUI, third or subsequent offense, a felony, one count.

Brandi Dawn Morris, 33, of Buckhannon, was indicted for child neglect causing serious bodily injury, a felony, one count; and driving under the influence causing serious bodily harm, a felony, one count.

Steven Dewayne Arbogast, 38, of Buckhannon, was indicted for malicious assault, a felony, one count; and battery on law enforcement officer, a misdemeanor, two counts.

Jason Daniel Peck, 36, of Buckhannon, was indicted for driving under the influence of alcohol, third or subsequent offense, a felony, one count.

Michael Alan Roylance, 23, of Buckhannon, was indicted for burglary, a felony, one count; domestic assault, a misdemeanor, one count; and assault, a misdemeanor, one count.

Rease Earl Moore, 34, of Buckhannon, was indicted for burglary, a felony, one count; assault, a misdemeanor, one count; violation of protective order, a misdemeanor, one count; and brandishing a deadly weapon, a misdemeanor, one count.

Brian Anthony Chidester, 27, of Rock Cave, was indicted for domestic battery, third or subsequent offense, a felony, one count; and domestic assault, third or subsequent offense, a felony, one count.

Jacob Isaac Reed, 25, of Buckhannon, was indicted for grand larceny, a felony, one count; and transfer of stolen property, a felony, one count.

Brandon Levi Wagoner, 22, of French Creek, was indicted for grand larceny, a felony, one count; possession of a stolen vehicle, a felony, one count; and attempted transfer of stolen property, a felony, one count.

Tristan Lynn Runner, 23, of French Creek, was indicted for uttering a bank check, a felony, one count; and fraudulent use of an access device; a felony, one count.

Bradley Adam Bonner, 28, of Adrian, was indicted for conspiracy, a felony, one count; breaking and entering a building other than a dwelling, a felony, two counts: and grand larceny, a felony, one count.

Julia Ray Canter, 28, of French Creek, was indicted for conspiracy, a felony, one count; breaking and entering a building other than a dwelling, a felony, two counts; and grand larceny, a felony, one count.

Justin D. White, 37, of French Creek was indicted for conspiracy, a felony, one count; breaking and entering a building other than a dwelling, a felony, two counts; and grand larceny, a felony, one count.

Brayson R. Ackerman, 20, of Buckhannon, was indicted for delivery of a controlled substance (LSD), a felony, two counts.

Robin Janine Norris, 59, of Buckhannon was indicted for child neglect causing serious bodily injury, a felony, one count; and child neglect creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury, a felony, one count.

Eric Reynolds Rowan, 24, of Buckhannon, was indicted for breaking and entering a building other than a dwelling, a felony, one count; and destruction of property, a felony, one count.

Ethan Thomas Bevans, 22, of Buckhannon, was indicted for delivery of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), a felony, two counts.

Cierra Elizabeth Jones, 25, of Rock Cave, was indicted for child neglect creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury, a felony, one count; and possession of controlled substances, a misdemeanor, one count.

Codey Mark Jones, 29, of Rock Cave, was indicted for child neglect creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury, a felony, one count; and possession of controlled substances, a misdemeanor, one count.

Brent Nelson Garton, 37, of Weston, was indicted for driving under the influence of alcohol, third or subsequent offense, a felony, one count.

Amy Jo Malcomb, 41, of Buckhannon, was indicted for possession with intent to deliver (methamphetamine), a felony, one count.

William Alan Baisden, 37, of Buckhannon, was indicted for possession with intent to deliver (methamphetamine), a felony, one count.

Bradley Alexander Bennett, 32, of Adrian, was indicted for child neglect creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury, a felony, two counts.

Laura Beth Smith, 30, of Adrian, was indicted for child neglect creating a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury, a felony, two counts.

Billy Joe Keyser, 35, of Buckhannon, was indicted for driving while license revoked for DUI, third or subsequent offense, a felony, one count.

William David Brown, 44, of Buckhannon, was indicted for incest, a felony, three counts; and sexual abuse of a child by a parent, guardian or person in a position of trust, a felony, 12 counts.

Patricia Ann Wilson, 25, of Elkins, was indicted for sexual abuse of a child by a parent, guardian or person in a position of trust, a felony, one count.

Nichole Faith Zickefoose, 29, of Tallmansville, was indicted for incest, a felony, five counts; and displaying obscene matter to a minor, a felony, one count.

Adolph Steven Bowman, 45, of Tallmansville, was indicted for incest a felony, five counts; and displaying obscene matter to a minor, a felony, one count.

Joseph Patrick Herron, 35, of Buckhannon, was indicted for driving while license revoked for DUI, third or subsequent offense, a felony, one count.

David Lawrence Stewart, 55, of Buckhannon, was indicted for failure to update sex offender registry information, a felony, two counts.
