Spring blooms with events in Upshur County

BUCKHANNON, WV — As warmer weather arrives, Upshur County is bursting with a colorful array of spring events and outdoor activities for locals and visitors alike. From craft shows and art exhibitions to community theater productions and flower workshops, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this season.

Those with a passion for nature can explore the Riverwalk by West Virginia Wesleyan College or the trails at the Upshur County Recreational Park, soaking in the beauty of the great outdoors. Water enthusiasts can cast a line or paddle along the Buckhannon River, Middle Fork River and Stonecoal Lake.

“Celebrate Spring in Upshur County!” invites the Upshur County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, encouraging residents and travelers to immerse themselves in the region’s vibrant offerings. A full list of events can be found on the Visit Buckhannon website.
