Buckhannon’s 84th West Virginia Strawberry Festival kicked off at Jawbone Park on Saturday with the lighting of the festival flame, launching a week-long “Strawberry Fiesta” celebration.

The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources announced updated 2026 boating regulations, including changes to horsepower restrictions on several lakes.
