Two killed in wreck on the Old Elkins Road

BUCKHANNON — Two people were killed in a single-vehicle wreck on the Old Elkins Road Tuesday afternoon.

The wreck occurred at about 4 p.m. Tuesday when a vehicle ran off the road and hit a tree on the Old Elkins Road near Excelsior. The road was closed as emergency crews worked at the scene.
