Try This WV community gathering and hike to be held Wednesday at Upshur County Recreational Park

Buckhannon, WV – On August 17th 2022, Try This West Virginia will be hosting a regional community gathering from 11am-1pm, followed by a hike on the Upshur County Trails– a Try This minigrant partner– which will be led by Rachel Weber, UCT project leader. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with others in the region with the shared focus of making West Virginia healthier, all while enjoying a free local lunch.

The Upshur County Trails project first partnered with Try This in 2017, and since then they have only continued to grow. The trails now extend several miles and are perfect for all experience levels of hikers and mountain bikers. Features include native WV wildflowers, a bridge built by volunteers for the project, and fantastic views of Upshur County year-round.

The meeting will be held at the pavilions at Upshur County Recreational Park at 308 BU Drive in Buckhannon. For more information or to register for the event, please email director@trythiswv.com. You can also visit Try This West Virginia on Facebook.
