BUCKHANNON – My Buckhannon is proud to present another edition of the Hank Ellis All-Stars. Each week we will select a male and female athlete at Buckhannon-Upshur who has had an exemplary week on the football field, soccer field, volleyball court, golf course or the cross-country course.
Our Hank Ellis All-Stars for the week of Oct. 2 – Oct. 8 are Wyatt Mason and Haley Triplett.
Mason is a junior kicker on the Buccaneer football team. Against Lewis County, Mason kicked a 40-yard field goal and made both of his extra-point kicks. Two weeks ago, against Morgantown, Mason made a 43-yard field goal.
Triplett is a sophomore on the Lady Buc soccer team. In a 2-0-1 week for B-U, Triplett had two goals and an assist in an 8-0 win over Lewis County and had a goal in a 3-0 victory over Brooke.
Congratulations to Mason and Triplett as our weekly winners of the Hank Ellis All-Stars honor.
