Thanksgiving weekend at Stonewall Resort features holiday meal, daily activities, Rat Pack Tribute event

Weston, W.Va. –Serving all the traditional dishes and some new offerings, Stonewall Resort will host its popular Thanksgiving dinner throughout the day and evening on Thursday, November 25, as well as offer holiday-themed events and activities throughout the weekend.

“Thanksgiving is a time to enjoy the company of family and friends and we have created an environment where guests can do that in a responsible fashion,” said Andre’ D’Amour, Stonewall Resort General Manager. “Thanksgiving also kicks off our Lakeside Holiday Traditions series of Christmas-themed activities and the weekend of Nov. 26 offers a full slate of fun, wonder-filled events for kids and adults, alike.

D’Amour said that Thanksgiving dinner will be offered in Stillwaters Restaurant from 11am-7pm. The menu includes herb roasted turkey, slow roasted tavern ham, sliced prime rib, baked cod and a wide selection of traditional and non-traditional holiday sides, salads, and desserts. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (304) 269-8880.

The weekend of Nov. 26 features daily activities, to include holiday artisan workshops, a “Canvas & Cocktails” event, a culinary demonstration, a fall harvest mixology workshop, and family games and crafts.

For those interested in a fun and entertaining evening out, the resort will host a “Rat Pack Tribute” event on Saturday, Nov. 27. Featuring Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr. imitators, guests will enjoy the comedic interaction and wonderful music of the Rat Pack era. The event also includes a three-course dinner.
